Singapore Trip (18-19 October 2008) - Day 2

The next day... First destination... Lau Pa Sat (Raffles Place MRT). At first.. I thought this place is some sort like various souvenir selling shop and food stall. When reach here.. my assumptions is wrong.. actually it is a food court.. There have plenty of food style such as Japanese, Korea, Asian, Western food.. The building decoration is quite unique.

Then we go to City Hall (City Hall Station). We walk to Fountain of Wealth and have some photograph. Locker (Goh friends-blogger) told us, this Fountain is Singapore FengShui because there is 5 Suntec Building around this Fountain and the middle of the fountain is located in the center of 5 building just like water keep flow into a palm with 5 fingers.

Then we walk back to Suntec Building and enjoy a Koi Garden which located beside car park. This place, they feed Koi Fish.. All the fish look very healty and fat..

After this, we meet up with Locker and went to Esplanade which is home to Theatres on the Bay. This place was so artistic. Some people are learning dance at a big hall and some enjoying the art located at show shop or wall.

Across the Esplanade, a few minutes walk will reach Merlion Park. At here, you can have a nice sight seeing where can see the Esplanade building, Singapore Flyer and a nice river sight seeing..

Next, our destination will be Sentosa Island (HarbourFront MRT). We plan to get a cable car to the Island. This cable car service can took at HarbourPoint Tower B. The ticket to Sentosa will be SGD14.90 per person. You will need travel to Level 16 at HarbourPoint Tower B to get to the Cable Car. It is very exciting moment once we get into the cable car... due there is a Gemini Star Cruise is park under the cable car link.

Once reach Sentosa Island, have few minutes walk will reach to Singapore biggest Merlion at Sentosa. This Merlion tail is very interesting.. *figure out yourself...

At Sentosa, free bus shuttler service is provided. We took an empty bus to Dolphin Park. But we went to seaside. This place is so nice and beautiful.. Dont speak about the sand.. Is the view look very nice and relaxing. I likfe the 2 wooden tower which build at opposite small island, linked together with wooden bridge.

Our leg start to get tired and time at Singapore become shorter. So, we went back to Singapore Island and have our dinner at Marche together with Locker. This place is very special because, I can see organic fruit is everywhere and some kind like western tavern...

After dinner, we group together with ChenHow and Locker as goodbye and see you again... Goh and I depart from Singapore at 8pm and reach Kuala Lumpur 12am.
