One day in Taipei (7 Oct 2008)

After 2 month non-stop working at Taiwan, at last have some free time for traveling. Our destination is Taipei.

We took a 2 hours and a half travel from TaiChung to Taipei which cost us NTD220 per person.

We reach Taipei at Taipei Metro rides station JingMei. The Taipei Metro rides have unlimited rides pass which just cost NTD200 perday. Then we travel to Station Taipei City Hall located near Taipei 101.

First impression when enter Taipei 101 is.. same with KLCC. Everything is branded and expensive, and the elevator, structure almost the same.

After that we travel to Taipei Zoo. Our main mission is visit Mr Panda. Unfortunetly, Mr Panda not arrive to Taiwan yet. The weather not as good as always. It keep rain, rain and rain. Taipei Zoo is a good place for exercise and keep fit. In 4 hours journey inside the zoo, we had walk for total 3km. Very value for us since we want to diet and just cost NTD60 per entry.

At night we continue our last destination with Shilin Night Market (Jiantan Station). Here can buy Taiwan food, souveniers and have a view on Taiwan "leng lui".

End our journey at Taipei Main Station, return the Taipei Metro rides passes to counter and get NTD50 refund. Then ride bus from Taipei to TaiChung with only NTD120 (feel kena scam by morning Bus which cost extra NTD100).
